Kathy I'm so happy that Cindy chose you for the FS! Congrats congrats~a well deserved honor! Your gallery is lovely and even though we have never met you are a sweetheart. You always leave super comments! And you do so many challenges!
I changed the scene to summer.
Different colors.
Different ef.
Added a sentiment.
I have had the window die for awhile and it was still in the package. So when I saw this pretty window card it inspired me to use it! lol
I couldn't find a scene so I created my own. I stamped the chair, masked it and stamped the grass. I tried to use an aqua painter and ink but it doesn't work very well on regular paper, so I used colored pensil. The bush turned really dark so I got out my SU watercolor mini and stamped the bush! I got this idea from Pat Smethers. Then I stamped the tree. Colored in the grassy area with a colored pensil, and the tree, brick wall and chair. The sky was sponged. The window is die cut from a cracker box, sponged with tea dye. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed, cut out with scissors and stapled. I used a brick wall embossing folder. Took SU whisper white directly to the embossed card stock, dried with a heat gun and when took DI fired brick directly to the embossing. Mounted on dark brown. The card base is PTI kraft.
I had fun doing this card~tried some different things~made a mess~got ink everywhere~including me! lol
Kathy enjoy enjoy your week in the limelight! And thank you so much for all your encouragement. TFL
Hugs Linda
