Judy, what a FAB site BETTER PHOTOS is! I spent over an hour viewing 100s of awesome pictures. I choose at least 20 as inspiration photos, however, for my first card today, I chose as my inspiration, this picture titled OLD AND BEAUTIFUL:
Without knowing the other asked me, my Mom and Dad asked me to create Valentine's Day cards for them to give to each other. Too funny! After 52 yrs of marriage, they have a deep and true love and have grown to appreciate the humor in each other, as well. The cards I make will reflect that. So ... this is the one I created for my Dad to give my Mom. BTW, that's him on the front, paper-pieced, mis-matched summer attire to boot. Heehee! (He actually caught on a decade ago and hasn't been wearing plaid and stripes together anymore, but we still tease him about his sometimes zany color combos!)
The inside reads "Just the way I like my Valentine! So glad you're mine."
THANKS FOR LOOKING!

This is the best valentine card I've seen this year. It is awesome. Love the meaning behind this fun card. What Valentine's Day is really about. Real love, not what society tells us it should be. tfs

Too funny! I love the antiqued background and that old guy dresses like my hubby. If it is green it really doesn't matter if one is lime and one is garden! LOL
