I've missed so many challenges this week, it was good to find time and energy to make one today, and hopefully another one if I don't get tied up in the kitchen!
The Swirly Snails wall art gave me a chance to use the mushroom dies I got with some Christmas money.
A2 base.
Frame is created using Labels 8 and an oval, embossed with Swiss Dots and layered on thin chipboard for strength. It would have been so much easier if I'd decided it needed a black edge and dots before I layered it up on foam tape.
Mushrooms are QuicKutz, sun is MFT. The snail was stamped twice, once on a scrap of patterned paper for the shell (embossed with two layers of clear EP and up on foam dots) and once for the body - sponged with Old Paper. I added little googlie eyes.
I expect that I'll add a little tag with a sentiment when I know what this will be used for.
Thanks for a wonderful site, Judy - plenty of inspiration there.

Oh my this is so so cute! I have a soft spot for snails - I don't know why; I just think they are adorable (on paper!). This is great - those mushroom dies are so fun and I love your frame!
