Today's Inspiration Challenge takes us to Everything Turquoise - one of my favorite colors, especially the hues along teal lines. Here's what I chose: Armless Accent Chair
I used the square lattice folder for a weave effect, and inked one side with Frayed Burlap Distress ink. I have one or two pieces of a woven cardstock, not sure if you can see that in the photo, but it's a beautiful texture IRL - no idea where I picked that up over the years - used that for the card base and for cutting the flourish. It's taupe IRL but it's photographed with a gray hue.
The flower is made with Spellbinders Peonies, cutting several layers and crinkling them up to break down the paper fibres, then layering them up and scrunching them. In fact, the paper breaks down so that it separates and then you can pull it apart on the edges and you've got even more layers! Mindless work, but I do it when I'm watching TV, since I like to have something to do with my hands while I'm sitting there!
I have a friend who recently redid her whole living room up in these colors with a shabby chic theme - gorgeous!

Wow, Bridget, this is wonderful! The peony is gorgeous--I love the fullness! The leafy flourish is pretty and the texture of the base cardstock is so elegant! A very lovely card!
