This was my first try at negative effect embossing...I LOVE the technique! I'm not so impressed with the overall look of my card, but I do love the background. I started working on this and was sure that I had some vanilla ribbon so that I could make a nice bow but quickly found out that I did not. I had to improvise and "make" some ribbon (cut and punched it and sponged the vanilla paper with Crumb Cake then layered it with Not Quite Navy). This is another thank you card for the Cards for a Cause group this month.

I think your negative effect embossing came out wonderfully. I thought it was dsp until I really looked at it, then I thought gee, that looks like an ef that I use, so I then read what you wrote and saw what you did.
