I'm glad I took a peek at Jeanne's inspiring card before I started thinking too much about the challenge this morning. DH doesn't do Valentine's, so I was thinking in terms of making a flower with hearts for petals, but far more useful to get a Christmas cards under my belt.
A2 size, Bazzill for layering, Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses and MME Wild Asparagus.
I stamped the Whippersnapper image on Bristol Board and coloured with distress inks (Vintage Photo, Bundled Sage, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick) and added some ApplieGlue for snow. I wasn't sure if I could tie in another heart so I actually drew a little one in the bird's beak, but then I ended up using a button too .
Sentiment is from MFT, and I used a Spellbinders snowflake cut from thick foil, with a heart button threaded with silver cording.

What a wonderful Christmas card and sweet snowman, Sabrina! I really love the wonderful bg dp and the cute snowman, and how you have worked in the heart in the birds beak!
