Fabulous challenge to-day. The weather here is total junk to-day so I had plenty of time to play with my 'stuff'! For this card I used the 3-D sticker technique. First cut around your sticker (this one is from Joy Craft). Colour the bits you think should be coloured with sharpies. Remove the outline (the positive part) and stick it to a piece of acetate and trim close to the edge. With a piece of painters or low tack tape lay over the top and pick up the negative parts. You may have to burnish to make sure you get everything. Transfer this to your prepared cardstock and burnish again. The packing tape should release fairly easily leaving the negative pieces in tact. Attach some foam dots to parts of the acetate that won't show and match up on top of the negative pieces. Clear as mud..right??

What a beautiful card and the floral sticker image is AMAZING....after having been given your "treatment". TFS the how-tos. The embossing and punched borders all add further to your card's beauty.

Beautiful! I've been stamping for a long time, but I've read over your directions twice and am still confused! Is there a tutorial out there some where that you know of? Also, what embossing folder(s) did you use. Gorgeous!

I'm going to have to read this again when I'm more awake. From the description I think you're using some type of outline sticker. I've often stuck those to acetate and coloured them, but I think you've taken this a step further. It looks fabulous.

Thank you for all your comments and questions. Yes this is an outline sticker. I just used the negative leftovers to take it one step further. Usually those bits just get thrown away. Outline sticker on the acetate..leftovers underneath on cardstock. The folder is a sizzix ..lace something I think. It came in a two-pack.
