Happy New Year all. A fresh beginning...encouragement for all the positive changes begun last year and going forth...I love the New Year. Thanks to one of our new SC hostesses, Taylor for the very cool sketch tonight. It spurred me on to complete a card for a brave friend who is moving on and up!
When I saw the circles, I couldn't help but think about the new year...and the Cosmo Cricket number paper from 'Joy Ride' was begging to be used. I added the sentiment: The Journey is the Reward along the side and also a Tim Holtz fragment with the inital "T". My strips are a piece of upholstery fabric along the vertical and paper crimped on the horizontal.
Thanks for having a look and hope your week is going well.

Wonderful colors....cheerful for a friend. Love that you thought to put the numbers in the circles!

Oh Susan what a very creative and oh so cool card! Your friend is going to love this one. Love that you used a strip of upholstery fabric. Reminds me of a story. My step-dad got a large bag of upholstery scraps which I made a quilt out of for him and my mom. Only problem was it was way too heavy. Mom said it nearly squashed them! hehe So I now have the quilt. See what your tiny strip did to me. hehe Love your card! TFS :0)
