It's a wild, wet, blustery evening here and apart from the wind the day wasn't much better, so I made a cheerful card to compensate for the weather. I was never going to get a daylight photo even as soon as I got home from work.
A2 base, sponged with Broken China, then stamped with Very Vintage in Faded Jeans, edges sponged with Walnut Stain.
Papers are BG Mellow, from which I took the colours for the image, and another RAK paper from One4Joy, edges sponged with Walnut Stain and Wild Honey respectively.
Garden Collage stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks (Peeled Paint, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick, Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, Broken China, Faded Jeans), then the edges sponged with Scattered Straw and Peeled Paint. Edges distressed, panel popped up on foam dots.
I really wanted a feather but the ones I have didn't look right, so I cut a flourish from vellum and scored it from underneath with a small stylus, which curled it up a bit.
