My CAS2011 Winter Design Team Rd #2 Card. The challenge was to have one or more gifts on your card. I have a close home town girlfriend who has a January birthday. Sue Graves is a very giving and talented artist, who uses neutrals and reds in such creative ways. Sue also makes jewelry. Keeping those likes in mind I went with Crumb Cake (Kraft) CS, W White CS and craft ink and Cherry Cobbler EB Powder and quilted ribbon. I thought the button was kind of a jewelry type of accent.
BTW, I did heat eb the main image twice and then cut out the pkgs and attached with mini glue dots to give the pkgs a popped up look.
Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving to all.......

Wow - this is another fantastic creation! Love the colors and the way you showcase that lovely sentiment (one of my favs). The ribbon adds a bunch too. Sounds like it will the perfect card for your friend! Hugz and Happy Turkey day!

Oh, do I LOVE your beautiful birthday card, Nancy! I love the crumb cake and cherry cobbler together, and I've made a note to purchase some of that beautiful cherry cobbler quilted ribbon.

I absolutely love this card. Using the spritzing tool was inspired. How perceptive of you to incorporate elements of Sue's personality/life into the card with the color combo, the jewelry element--and the beautiful artistry of your card. Love the oval embossed frame and the popped up elements, too.
