Holly, you have given me a great idea for the holiday gift for my Husband. He reads four to five newspapers everyday. He loves books and asks for them every year for Christmas. He purchases at least ten large poinsettias for the house and one for 15 other people every year.
I can now wrap all of his book gifts in his favorite newspaper (the Financial Times) and use his favorite holiday plant as a bow.
The band/ribbon around the box is some wrap used around a bouquet of flowers he presented to me for no particular reason. I save mostly all wraps from flowers. By the wayÂ… he is a sweetheart!
The Punch Bunch flower petal was punched 10 times, scored with stylus and gold jell pen, sponge and glued to a shape with the green petals. Also added liquid pearls buttercup for stamen. The tag is Spellbinders label twenty, stamped with JustRite cling set and outlined with gold leafing pen.
Thanks for looking!

Recycled elegance!! The gold leafing really stands out, looking like another layer!!
Now, does your husband read actual ink and paper books, or is he using an electronic device? I still like the good old fashioned way, ink and paper!
