I swapped out the colors and used a rub-on flourish for my main element ... I loved the idea of punching a mask for sponging the squares ... worked like a charm.
However, trying to apply a rub-on to an inky surface was not the best plan. Even though I heat set the ink, I still had the darndest time finally getting it to stick ... but I persisted.
I inked the sentiment with black, then blue, then a few taps of silver to coordinate with my sponged colors.
This sure gets my creative juices flowing....I love your card! The simplicity of it is so effective! I love the colors, the layout, your use of the squares, all of it!
