My first idea for this week's CAS challenge (to use the colors ivory, chocolate and red) was to make a wintry version of a fall-themed flap card I made. But I wanted to differentiate the sky from the snow, so I lightly sponged a bit of Soft Sky ink on the flap to make a sky behind the tree. I don't know if that's cheating, LOL, but most of the card does fit the CAS color challenge. The bird was stamped on a scrap of cardstock and adhered to the card with dimensionals. I drew the snow line with my Chocolate Chip marker. It looked kind of weird just on the flap, so I extended it to the rest of the card front.

I really like the wintery look with the hint of blue in the sky and of course, the RED bird!
