Our Daily Bread Designs challenge for this week is to use *Pink* to honor Breast Cancer Awareness month, and the celebrate the release of "Praying for a Cure".
See all the details Saturday, October 29, 2011 on ODBD's Design Blog and please use the keyword ODBDSLC82 so we can enjoy your creations too!
Once again, I chose one of the new releases for October, Christmas Door, because I love the hope that comes from this Scripture. The verse is stamped on designer paper, and framed using Spellbnders Fleur Di Lis. The blooms are hand made, and I have instructions HERE. Also tucked in a few swirls and leaves from my most favorite new toy- Cheery Lynn's Fanciful Flourish, (and really, I think they belong on every card! Lol!) The stitching is one of my favorite additions to a card, and I learned this technique from Pat, (Kokirose), whose "signature" sewing makes her cards a knock out. (Thanks sweet friend!)
Please join the ODBD team in celebrating the Cause for a Cure! I have friends from work that have been on this walk, (and one that is still in treatment) and I am so thankful God has provided ways to treat this once devastating disease and are now living testimony to the miracles of the Father, and His guidance in the medical field. Thanks for looking!

Pretty in Pink is a little understated. GORGEOUS in PINK is a little closer to the whole truth!!;) I know God's Word can stand alone, but your creativity blossoms all around and because of it. I read Nancy's comment and I know you don't say much of the cost to create these days; but, did you know that Annie Johnston Flint suffered debilitating arthritis from the early age of 23?!! She penned "He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater, He sendeth more strength 'ere the labors increase; to added affliction, He addeth His mercy..." seeing all these things (grace, strength, mercy) and more in you. Blessings and strength~
