This is for FS40 and Lisa Lynn Wright aka llwright is our featured stamper. Congratulations, Lisa. I really enjoyed browsing your gallery. I was inspired by Lisa's Memories Of An Old Truck found here: Memories of an Old Truck by llwright at Splitcoaststampers
I love the old truck in the field of wildflowers on Lisa's card. I used the truck from my Kittie Kits Fall Harvest and placed piles of leaves around the wheels and sideboard instead of flowers. I kept the same basic layout as Lisa but framed my image with deckled Nestibilities instead of layering with them. I changed the card size to square but kept Lisa's theme using a ribbon going across the front of the card. Instead of placing a sentiment on the card I created a little oak leaf bouquet with a button tied with linen thread. I added a tiny bit of dimension by crimping both sides of the frame layer.
I stamped the leaves image several times and masked and stamped the truck. I painted with reinkers mixed with water and cut it out. I cut a slit along the bed of the truck and inserted pumpkins. I sponged in a background on a separate piece of cardstock and placed it on the main card base. I mounted the frame using mounting tape and attached the truck and leaves. The leaves are made with the Martha Stewart oak leaf punch. They were sponged to deepen their color and then crimped. I attached them and the button using Matte Accent.

Oh Kittie, this is just lovely. I love the bed of leaves that you cut out and popped up against the frame. Send that fall weather to Texas, please? We're back into the 100's again this week.
