This is the first card I've made since my marathon for VSN Friday and Saturday. I made 17 cards in two days! That has got to be some kind of record for me. I seriously couldn't stop. I think they put subliminal messages in the challenge threads about coffee and chocolate...really....how else would they get a woman to do something for almost 24 hours straight ;)?
It's a good thing I got all that stamping in then, because Sunday is wasn't happening. Thanks to Irene, we lost power (and running water) for 17 hours...NOT a good time. It certainly could have been worse, but I can tell you not being able to get onto SCS to check out the challenges is almost as bad as Chinese water torture (not that I have first hand experience, but you get the idea ).
Of course yesterday was spent catching up on the lost day, sooooo, I had to double up today . Maybe I'll squeeze in the CAS challenge a bit later....
Anyway, here's Lydia's fabby card I chose to CASE:
I think it's soooo adorable and I love that the images are inside the flowers. I kept the layout the same, but changed up the images and used punches instead of stamps for the flowers, plus I drew in the stems. I also used the colors for today's color challenge....or at least I tried. I hope I got close. And would you believe I actually watercolored the images?!?! My Copics are feeling a bit jealous, I can tell you! I chose the sentiment because Lydia ALWAYS makes me smile . She is one kool kat, she is .
Thanks for taking a peek and congrats, my friend, for being this week's FS. You deserve it!!

What a story about your stamping marathon. Maybe you had an inkling of what was to come. After recharging here you are with a dear card for our sweet Lydia. I know she'll love this CASE.
