This for 2 challenges:
Teapot Tuesday challenge we were to create a card with birds, flowers, and hearts. I did the bird, in fact 3 of them, and the flower. I decided flowers are such gems I decided to substitute gems for flowers. Also my pink and green bird looked horrid, so I did a bit of a genetic makeover and made him into a bluebird.
For the Crafty Secrets challenge we were to make a square card.
The card uses Crafty secrets bird and leaf images, Girls Paperie paper, a cricut birdcage, and dyed seam binding.

oooh, I love your card with all it's great elements! The dp is perfect and I like the frame behind the bird cage; beautiful wrinkled bow and how darn cute is that little birdie sitting on top of the sentiment? Great card! TFS

This is fabulous Elizabeth!! It may have taken awhile ... but it was certainly worth the wait!! LOVE the 'bird in the cage' and one on the outside ... what a great concept! WELL DONE my friend!!!

Well, if he didn't look horrid, he doesn't any more! You showed us your fixer upper skills! Tee hee! I love this Elizabeth, its beautiful, beautiful....and three birdies! Whoot! Honestly, that image looks just like Floyd! As soon as he lands, he will show us his flutterless sitting! Life is good.....Floyd is sitting.....Whoot! Its lovely.....oh what i woulda given for a bird cage dye! Snort!
