Trish selected Carolyn(snowmanqueen) as the Queen for the Day. Carolyn has a beautiful gallery of cards, full of inspiration. She is also one to leave kind and encouraging comments on many stampers cards. I enjoyed selecting a card to CASE.
Wendy gave us the challenge to use one of our EF for the FOCAL POINT of our today's card.....not as a bg as many of us do all the time.
At first, I thought these two challenges might not mesh, but then I saw THIS CARD of Carolyn's. Instead of having an embossed bg, I embossed the tree. Hers was for a birthday; mine, for Christmas.
Carolyn, enjoy your reign and have a fantastic week. A well-deserved crown.

Edited to add: My apologies to those of you who kindly left comments on my first card. I just thought it looked messy and went back and redid it in another way. If you want to delete your comments, I totally understand. : )

Fantastic! I love the effect the sanding has on embossing! When I first got my cuttlebug, my grandson and I were playing with it and did some sanding....he kept saying.."Put some more sand on it, Grandma."

What a pretty Christmas card Sallie. I love the colors and like how the tree topper is white and the stand gold. The rhinestones just set it off along with the pretty bow.
