I love using kraft paper so today's challenge was a winner for me. It did help me get inspired for my card for the VLV August sketch challenge though....thanks!
I know it's a bit early, but I thought I'd make a teacher card today.
For my apple I punched a heart out of whisper white using the full heart punch. I drew on seeds with a black marker and sponged with Antique linen distressing ink. I mounted that on real red and trimmed around for the second heart which I sponged with real red. I cut the stem from crumb cake and sponged with vintage photo distressing ink. The leaf is punched from lucky limeade and sponged with the same.
The rest is fairly simple. I did switch up the sketch a bit putting my vertical panel behind because I wanted my notebook paper to shine.

Well aren't we just so creative! What an awesome idea for using the heart punch! Wonderful inspiring card! I'm sure the teacher-to-be will just love it!

What a precious card, and it will mean the world to some lucky teacher who receives it.
