| | This card is for two challenges: CAS128 Ways To Use Tags and IC293 Inspiration Challenge - Maggie Austin Cake. I chose Petals from a gorgeous array of cakes.
A lattice design was impressed in the base cardstock which is really a much paler yellow than shows here. My cake was made with metal dies on a fuzzy type paper - similar to the material called Polartec but much softer (I've had it in my stash...forever!). The flowers and hearts were made with punches. Actually the hearts are 6-petal flowers that two petals were snipped from to make the heart. The flower centers all have a dollop of sparkles and one heart was totally covered with the sparkles. Sitting on my desk from another project was a "sliver" of gold cardstock that was trimmed from the other project. It fit so perfectly in the little space that was part of the stamped cake stand image that I couldn't resist adding it I layered the centerpiece on a blue cardstock with a punched edge. The tag with the sentiment was used as a kind of Photo Turn.
Thanks so much for looking |
