This card is for the close friend of a friend of mine, Rita, who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. This will be a surprise for Rita and she will absolutely love the cards that are sent her way. If you have the chance to send positive thoughts or prayers her way, she would really appreciate it. If you havenÂ’t participated in a Teapot challenge before, hereÂ’s the link if youÂ’d like to send a card! Teapot Tuesday Destination Station - OLD INFO by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers post 237
Printed digi image and coloured with prismacolour pencils and OMS. Added the two strips of bkgrd dp after I distressed the edges (it is the same dp as it is 2-sided). Distressed the edges of the main image and punched with corner punch. Cut out 2” circle from the same dp, print and punched out the sentiment and distressed the edges on both. Attached the sentiment with pop dots.
Added stickles to the flowers and to the birdÂ’s wing. tfl

What a poor thirsty bird reduced to drinking from a dripping tap! Mind you, when I found a bigger birdbath that would hang from a tree but not blow too much in the wind, I wasn't quite envisaging that it would attract the magpies too. Oh well...
I'm sure Rita will really enjoy and appreciate your sweet scene. That was a fun sketch, too - nice to see it in use again.
