I'd picked out a beautiful YSL scarf to base my card on, but we have, unexpectedly, to go out this afternoon, so for starters I've made a quick card based on Stef's first thumb. For obvious reasons it sent me to the Faux Cloisonne technique, and I added some Black Magic in for the soft blue flowers in the background.
5 1/4" base, black card with the edges wiped with gold ink and embossed with gold EP, plus a little Woodware sentiment.
Main panel cut with Lacy Squares from black card, edges wiped and embossed with gold. I stamped a flower and leaf from Botanical Blooms with StazOn white and coloured with watercolour pencils.
Embrace Life and a Penny Black butterfly stamped and embossed with gold on old magazine pages and cut out. I used a Sakura Glaze pen to add colour to the hearts on the butterfly.
Be back later to comment.

One of the most fun things about challenges is seeing how the original piece can be interpreted in more than one way. Your card is utterly spectacular....beautiful cloisonne work!!!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

Wow! This is just stunning!! Doesn't look like a quick card to me! The faux cloissone is was the perfect choice for this! Love, love, love the gold swiped on the edges of the card and the scallops!

Another amazing card! Just so very beautiful! You and this website gel quite nicely! Both of your cards are very very beautiful! You are such a trooper doing those difficult techniques! I know, everyone says they are easy, but I don't go there! Tee hee!
