I've been in the garden getting things ready for Sandy, so I missed Tuesday all together! My knees are all dirty, cause I've been planting flowers and praying this week too. And my card is missing buttons...yikes! I was so focused on the "round thing" I totally got lost. (that ever happen to you?) At any rate, this "Dodge Ball" card is loaded with prayer to help Sandy dodge fear, doubt and discouragement. I hope this beautiful scripture from ODBD fills Sandy with hope. Please read more about Sandy here.
I have been wanting to make a shaped easel card forever, and was inspired by Nancy's (nwilliams6) work, and the card I got from her today. It was so easy to work out Beate's Tutorial once I had Nancy's card in my hands. I used fern stamps from Hero Arts, and these impressions were made with real ferns. There are a few little watercolors mini's tucked in too- in pink. The little fern punch is from SmARTworks.
Thanks for looking!

Another WOW Pat card! Maybe I still have seafood on my mind(you know the cajun mentioned on the chicken?), anyway, I thought of oysters and pearls when I saw this! You even have the pearls inside, on lace no doubt, along with the most amazing little rose garden too! BTW-I would much prefer your card to any oyster!

Awesome card, lovely greenery, great cause. Hope she finds your card encouraging. I signed up to be a cheater. I really don't understand the Teapot Tuesday. I am going to stalk it for a while until I figure it out. I think pearls should count as buttons. Hey, an embellishment is an embellishment, right?

Whee, I'm glad I remembered to check the rest of the gallery before tomorrow rolls around. We were minding my aunt's dogs and cottage, and with not much more than dial-up speeds I wasn't online too much after we left here. This is just so, so gorgeous. What a fabulous garden - somewhat like my aunt's .
Oh my gosh this is drop dead gorgeous! Well you did good for your first easel card. I love that fern punch. Your whole spray is beautiful. The scripture is beautiful. Isn't it neat how God's word speaks to each of us personally. It's refreshing. Love your beautiful card Pat.
