I combined today's WT challenge to use NO white cardstock with another card for Joan's old world look TLC. I cut these foil flowers when I really needed the smaller ones, and they've been sitting on the floor waiting to be used.
Since I mis-score a card base for the card with a detachable bookmark, I was able to use that as my non-white base.
Next layer is some Sizzix Little Sizzles from the Earth Tones pack, stamped with Print Pattern in Forest Moss, and the edges sponged with the same. Then I embossed just the top corner with the Script ef and swiped with Dusty Concord.
FLowers are Tim Holtz Tattered Florals cut from a foil plate, embossed with Texture ef and coloured with alcohol inks - Butterscotch, Burnt Orange and gold mixatives. The centres are a scrap of orange card embossed with Mesh and swiped with Dusty Concord. The bee and leaves are Spellbinders, again cut from scraps. Leaves sponged with Forest Moss while still in the die, and the bee with Soot Black. I used some fantasy film for the bee's wings - it's silver in some lights .
HA sentiment cut with Spellbinders Tags Trio and tied with twine, then popped up on foam.
