Am I late? I hope I can still get in to the Tea Party, but I bet I'll have to sneak in the back way. See my card has corners and it's supposed to be round. I tried, rahly I did (said in my best Katherine Hepburn voice-which is hard for a southern girl, dontcha know?)
I started out round...you can see by the center layers. But this card just wanted to be square. Who am I to argue? So I'll just be hangin' out by the back door and hopefully I won't be alone.
I stamped the crochet circle image 3 times, colored two and cut them out in layers. One water colored flower only. Two was the the inside circle, cut w/ a Spellbinders circle. Third was the whole image cut w/ an ODBD matching crochet circle die.
For the big circle and square bg, I used water colors to make the bg and then stamped the crochet bg on top. I stamped and cut (w/ the matching ODBD border die) 4 strips of the crochet border to make the frame. As I was putting it together, I got to looking at the negative strips and decided to use them as well. So I added a little color to them and attached them offset behind the crochet borders. The sentiment is also on one of the negative strips. The finished card measures 5" square.
Thanks so much for looking! Close ups will be on my blog in just a bit. The Write Stuff

Ha ha! You know what happens don't ya Julie......the back door becomes the front door before the teaparty gets over...its really quite the place to be! Even those that come in the front door make their way back!
Don't ya just know.....these cards have a mind of their own! I am glad they do because the platform your designer dodge ball is balancing on is amazing! A lovely little card....the layers and colors are wonderful...not sure about the bouncibility, but hey not all dodge balls bounce so good! Some just look good sitting on the ball rack! Its so good to see you!
