This is for QFTD59 and Faith aka markie's mom is our Queen for the Day. Congratulations, Faith! I had a great time surfing your gallery. I was inspired by so many that I had a hard time picking just one. I finally settled on one back on May 2009 called Speedy The Cat Wants To See The Sun. WT219 Speedy the Cat wants to SEE the SUN!!! by markie's mom at Splitcoaststampers I was inspired by her fun popped up tree and little girl standing in the sun. I kept the same layout and pretty close to the same color combination but changed the image. I changed the beach scene to a garden scene. I went a little over the top with all the flowers on the ground area around the little girl but I just couldn't help myself. Do you know how it is when you start adding stuff and you love it so much that you keep adding and adding until you have over done it. Oh well....I loved the little red flowers against the green. It seems to make everything pop. Check out the punched paper flowers tutorial on my blog if you would like to know how I make my flowers. http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kitti...-tutorial.html

You are now missing one flower because I just reached out and picked it. Well, not really, but that dimension (and the tree even more so, but I did not want one of the branches) is amazing. And no, I do not think you overdid it - it is just a beautiful flower filled garden.

Kittie, the colors on this pretty card just pop and they're gorgeous - as always you create such beautiful dimension and once again you've created a scene so pretty you just want to jump in the frame!
