I am combining two challenges with this project. One is for FS221 honoring LateBlossom (Susan) and the second for QFTD58 honoring jdmommy (Anne). I was inspired by Susan's Speedy the Cat's Friends single blossom card. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers and Anne's A Pleasure to Make single blossom card. CC315, A Pleasure to make! by jdmommy at Splitcoaststampers I seem to have gone CAS crazy this morning but I can't stop myself. I rarely make anything this clean but it has been a fun challenge to move out of my comfort zone.
I kept the same layout that both ladies used on their cards but used a different single flower image. I paper pieced my flower like Anne did but only attached at the flower center so the petals would pop up a little like Susan's lace flower. I added a punched border along the bottom like Anne's and used the same DP as the paper pieced flower.
The Marguerite is a new Rubbernecker image that will be released on May 3. Check out my blog post today if you would like to see some of the other new images being released.
