It is kind of hard to post today after all the devastation in my state from the tornadoes. Most of my family lives in Tuscaloosa, AL (2 1/2 hrs. from me) and Huntsville, AL. (2 hrs. away) I'm sure you have seen the damage there. Thankfully, they are safe. But, so many of the wonderful places I visit are gone. But, most important are the lives lost.
On to my card..the Stampin' B's hostess this week is Joanne/jojot. She asked that we do a monochromatic with blues...and paper piecing. Guess who forgot about the paper piecing??? You got it....ME. My butterflies are stamped twice, cut out, and popped up. O.K., that can count....NO RULES, right?
We would love for you to join the Stampin' B's this week. Just add the keyword, StampinB

Benz - you're safe and I'm so happy. Believe it or not, I really do kinda like ya. You're still #1 on my speed dial, but don't tell Audzi! That dp is gorgeous and your butterflies are so sparkly. Love the corner rounders too. Great job on zee B challenge this week. Keep me updated on you and your family!

Your card is just gorgeous! I think you could count this as paper piecing. You still had to cut the butterflies out. I love the Stickles you used. I've only used Diamond, but I think I'm going to try others now that I know how pretty they look.
Glad to hear your family is ok. Hope all is well with you, too.

Loving those sparkly butterflies all over again and the soft floral images behind them. Gorgeous card.

Benzi, your card is beautiful. Love the 'flies - they are very special. It was a sad week in 'Bama and our neighboring states - blue is a good color to represent that. This is a beautiful state, but I have to tell you that I plan to pray that we don't continue to have weather like we did in April. So glad your family is all safe, and I hope that the rebuilding and repairs go smoothly. Hugz!

Aren't the 'flies a symbol of rebirth? I hope that your home state will enjoy the hope of renewal that you have symbolized on your card - blue for now, but with a wonderful future ahead. Blessings to y'all and kudos on a lovely card.
