This week we will be sending our cards to Winnepeg, Canada, to Kay, the Grandmother of Crystaldolphins aka Charlene.
This challenge makes me realize how much I miss my Grandma Walter. She would love all the beautiful cards on SCS and all the beautiful dps that are out now. Cindy, the Mudder would certainly have made my Grandmother proud with her beautifully crafted cards.
So it is with great pleasure that I made this card and send it to Kay. Charlene, go see your Grandmother, she is a TREASURE and BOTH of you deserve to see each other!
I did the tulips in paper embroidery. The actual pattern is all three lined up vertically, but I had already done it that way, so I switched it up a little to be horizontal.
Thinking of you was stamped with chalks. This was really an easy card to make.
I made this card and send this card in honor of My Dear Grandmother that is no longer with me in life form, but always in spirit.
Now, where's that mint julep that been poured in the tulip?! I'm ready to hollar and hoolep!

Your embroidering is beautiful! I wish I had paid more attention to the stories my grandmother told me. Now, years after she's been gone, I have trouble remembering all those wonderful stories she would tell. There's nothing like the love of a grandmother.

Oh wow!! Another beautiful embroidery card. LOVE IT!! Your stitching brings back fond memories of my grandmother as well. She taught me to do Crewel embroidery and was a perfectionist - which I appreciate far more now than as a child - she had untold patience being right handed and teaching a leftie - not easy. Wonderful, wonderful card for Charlene's grandmother. Gorgeous!!
