I know, I'm slow, but after yap, yap, yapping about wanting to try these (for a very long time!!), I finally got down to business and used a set that had never seen ink either (shameful but true). I don't know what was going on yesterday, but I spent more time trying to salvage my work...Cant' tell you how many layers and mediums of color went on that bird and I'm not sure there is any paper left under all that color medium!! I do like how it turned out in the end and I must say, I'm hooked!!

WOW WOW WOW - Contratulations, this is GORGEOUS! I've been yapping about making one of these too - guess I just need to TRY!! Your card is amazing - That bird is beautiful (whether there's any paper left or not he's still beautiful!!), the flowers placed perfectly, love the banner and sentiment on the bottom panel too. This is definitely a MASTERPIECE.

Wow!!! Good for you!! My set has not seen ink yet either -nor have I made an easel card!!! So you've conquered two challenges in one!! And you've created a beautiful card at the same time! Beautiful soft colours, and I love your greenery in the corner!!!
