Yes it's my favourite day of the week, Teapot Tuesday day. This week our cards are going to a young man in Ontario battling cancer (he's 41, I call that young) For those of you that don't know my name is Elizabeth LINCOLN hence the title.
I used half a Sizzix daisy die for the big flower, SU stamp for the silhouette, Crafty Secrets "It's a Bug's Life for the Locust and Cars for the Old (I'm calling it a Lincoln although I know it's not!) Drew the foliage and inked in the sky. The image is coloured with copics and the locust wings are stickled as is the daisy centre. Phew for an easy card that's a lot of instructions.

Oh my - this is so much fun, I bet Kim will be tickled by it. I love the idea of the Locust Lincoln dealer, and the wonderful sense of scale you gave the whole bug scene by setting it under that big flower. I've still got to make a presentation box for my MIL's card!
and p.s., I can totally understand playing the music on Music Notes to see if it was anything. I've always wondered if the Stampendous Music Score is real music. I'm pretty sure I remember reading that Charles Schultz used real music for Schroeder.

Well Ms. Lincoln, your name is surely a favorite with me, as I have wanted a Lincoln since I was a teen and have driven one since I was 25 (not the same one, he he he)!! AWESOME card lovely scene!!

Elizabeth, what a totally fun and delightful scene you've created! I love the 3D effect with the daisy, the Jimminy-Cricket look-alike, and the cool drawing you did with the foliage. Great play on your name, too! Cute card that is sure to bring a smile to Kim's face.

Awesome card. Love the clever title and you fabulous foliage drawing and coloring. Your little locust is pretty cute too. Even though it's not an actual Lincoln it's a cool car. The perspective and that fantastic daisy make this card OVER THE TOP.
