Featured Stamper, what a great way to meet new stampers and expand your horizons! I loved cruising through Mary Beth's gallery and finally chose Butterfly Spring. The Top Note always grabs my attention, and Mary Beth's lil garden is so beautiful! Keeping her layout and changing it to a 5x5, I still added a strip to the bg, but changed the direction.
I wish I could say I colored this sweet image, but it is a recycled Hallmark card from the 80's! Classic Pooh! A friend at work gave me all sorts of cards, dishes, artwork to pass on to my DIL. (JamiePTS) You can see Jamie's Pooh Cards and my grandson to decorate our grandson's room. You can see all the Pooh cards from Jamie's MMTPT Baby Shower, and my grandson HERE. It is just precious! This is a thank you card for Jenn. I am also using my newly acquired skill of sewing, the Kokirose way, and it is the best! Thanks Pat!
Mary Beth, enjoy this week~ You deserve it!

Don'tcha just LOVE recycling cards like this precious Pooh???
The top note die cut works great with your image and your stitching is becoming rather professional looking - just like kokirose's! I am sure she is very proud of how her newest student is doing after her private class with you!!
The little Thank you tag with the gingham is such a special touch - love that mesh too! So, how's little Jon Pooh doin", Mimi Pat - still growing like a weed?? LOL

Oh Pat this is just exquisite I loved the idea of a recycled image of Pooh bear that I got out out my Pooh book I used to read my boys looking for images to scan "sad I know" and found a poem called Noise by Pooh :-
Oh the butterflies are flying
Now the winter days are dying,
And the primroses are trying to be seen
And the turtle-doves are cooing,
And the woods are up and doing,
For the violets are blue-ing In the green.
Oh the honey-bees are gumming
On their little wings, and humming
That the summer, which is coming,
Will be fun.
And the cows are almost cooing,
And the turtle-doves are mooing,
Which is why a Pooh is poohing
In the sun.
For the spring is really springing;
You can see a skylark singing,
And the blue-bells, which are ringing
Can be heard,
And the cuckoo isn't cooing,
But he's cucking and he's ooing,
And a Pooh is simply poohing
Like a bird.
Sorry sis I get distracted so easily, I love your card so much, I just want to be able to do one as beautiful as this.

I am so enjoying your sewing the Kokirose way!! It just looks awesome and adds such interest to the borders of your cards. However, I love all your stitching and I LOVE this classic Pooh salvage. Just checking in to see what those magic fingers have touched and made beautiful...
