I haven't made one of these surprise pop-up cards for a long time, it was fun to make one again.
Kim's challenge this week was Smiles. Amazingly I have not one but two stamps that say smile - this one is from Flourishes.
Bazzill and Basic Grey Kiosha for the card base. I haven't stamped a sentiment on the inside yet as I don't know what purpose I'll be using this card for.
Image is Stampendous Fluffles and Ladybirds stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured with distress inks (Shabby Shutters, Rusty Hinge, Scattered Straw, Soot Black, Tumbled Glass, Worn Lipstick), with Glossy Accents on all the little ladybirds.
Sentiment is punched and layered with oval punches, sentiment layer up on foam tape. Edges sponged with ink, and tiny gems added round the green layer.
Just off to roll out some jam doughnuts; I'll be back in a while for some more smiles.

oh, this is soooo cute, sabrina! i love the glossy ladybugs and the kioshi papers and colours. your pop up card reminds me of one i made at my first LSS card workshop a couple of years ago; i had so much trouble putting it together that i had to stay after class for help. to this day, i shy away from trying multi-fold cards and only recently made a stair step. lol. step-by-step photos in tutorials are a big help!
