This card is for a fellow punchie whose b/day is this month. She and I both have this bird stamp and have been having "bird" creation competitions. Not really, but we both loved this $1 Michael's bird.
I took a Zindorf brayering class last month and have tried to use what I learned there for this scenic b/ground. I still have a way to go to perfect this. The b/g on the image was supposed to be light and springy; however, it lost it's way somehow. So, it's a funky mix of darks and lights. And, no, the white gel pen highlights aren't snow, just accents. I've got a lot to still learn.
I sprinkled the bird with dazzling diamonds and colored it's wing in more mustard. I added the trees, grass, sprinkle of little flowers, sky, sun and b/flies to the image panel. Popped up the bird on dimensionals and the main image mat on dimensionals also.
I added a muscial score b/g stamp to the mid border punched panel which qualifies this for the StampinB Challenge to make a musical card.
The rest is pretty self-explanatory. Please don't laugh at my first Zindorf attempt. It's a work in progress.
Thanks for taking a look and have a great Friday.

Zee Fruitcakez Zecret Blog Entry #4:
Sorry to say, our punchie prez, Benzi, is beside herself with jealousy as I met my first SCS IRL, Audzi, and went with her to the Zindorf brayering class.
Being that I have discovered that Audzi is my 11-month older twin zizter, I am sure Benzi will butt in and say she's the long lost triplet. She tends to butt her way into everything I have going and this is no way to act as prez. I am sure b/t myself and my twinzi, Benzi will be ouzted from office sooner than she thinks! And there waz NO triplet born to zee Momzi - only twinz! I hope Benzi doesn't steam with jealousy when I meet with Audzi at her home on 3/12 to practice brayering together. She'll probably fly in with her supposed jet to ruin our fun.

Pamzi - you have come back with quite a STUNNING BEAUTY!!! I love that wonderful cute little birdie so happily looking for the first worm of the morning. Your little scene is delightful - your brayering and sponging pure perfection. You even did great with the white highlights - I've been afraid to pull out the gelpen for fear of ruining my projects LOL!!
I love the colors, the butterflies - love the entire design. I'm zo imprezzed with your talents and cannot wait to zee you in action on the 12th :-)!!!

And you took a brayering class without asking me - kidding of course - because I knew via our secret blog!;)Speaking of twiins, I got a semi secret twin -my younger sister. Yup. Both of us born in the same year - me in January, my sister in early November of the same year. Some call it Irish Twins. Beat that, Fruitcake. You took Zindor's class?! Now I'm REALLY jealous!! She was in Oregon last year (about 45 minutes away from me), but I had a scheduling conflict and couldn't make it. Your card is awesome, and I'm sure Michelle would be very proud of you.
