This week Julia challenged us to use Marina Mist, Certainly Celery and Rose Red...2 weeks in a row with very challenging colors for me!
I stamped the girl from Flourishes Kids at Play in Versamark on a celery oval nestie, then added heat and stick powder, heated and sprinkled with MS glitter. Stamped the Marina Mist card with SU Antique Background in Certainly Celery craft and clear embossed. Couldn't find the flower embellie that I wanted, so I remembered that Tim Holtz had made a flower from punches and I tried to make my own version. Used 5 heart nesties to make the flower from Rose Red Patterns DSP (I ran the three outside hearts through the CB Swiss dots EF first). Added some red MS glitter and the pearl. Punched some greenery with MS branch and two step bird - the flat leaves are the wings . Mounted all to the card, added pearls and done.
Sorry about the poor picture but I couldn't get the glitter and the light both right. Thank you so much for looking. Have a peaceful day

Greetings, Riezi!!! And welcome to our crazy bunch. Here is my first official comment as one Punchkateer to another, but as you know our paths have crossed before. What a lovely way to use that sweet Flourishes image, especially for this color challenge. You nailed it! I never would have thought to use glitter on a silhouette image this way, but I wish I had. That turned out gorgeous!!!
