Here's my card for this weeks Teapot Challenge - the theme is sports!
I 'found' this great multisport patterned paper in my paper pile by K & Company - the section I cut for my card has baseball items on it since I wanted to use my baseball mit stamp - but it also has soccer, football and hockey images on it.
I embossed the card stock panel to suggest a texture like the leather on the mit.
I used a rectangle nestability to cut my sentiment/image panel and sponged it before taking it out of the die.
The sparkly letters and little starburst are Thickers.
This card will be going postal to Bobby - a 19 year old who suffered severe burns in an accident last November. He loves sports and has coached kids - so we're sending him some sports cards to help lift his spirits as he begins his long road to recovery.

The embossing is great, and I think the personal touch always has a huge WOW factor, so I am betting Bobby will love seeing his name on this great card.
