Wow Betty, these are some TOUGH colors, plum and red.....wow....I am so anxious to see what everyone else does with these colors!! When I actually finished my card I looked at it and thought gee, not bad.....but left to myself I would have never in a million years combined plum and red. That's what is good about challenges though, gets us out of our ruts, our boxes, our comfort zones. Well, right now, as you read this, I am out of my comfort zone because I am away on a business trip for 3 days, and away from home = out of my comfort zone. Staying with coworkers in a hotel, learning about selling root canals and bridgework, partials and crowns and dentures. So much fun. So my sweet DIL who you all know, Jenna, is downloading my card for me so I won't have to try and do it on my blackberry, which would be a lot like torture to me. I hate my blackberry. I'm not sure why I ever even got one, except for adult children insisting I would wonder what I ever did without it. It's true, what did I hate before I had my blackberry? It would be so sad to go through life without it. Enough rambling. I won't be commenting till my lovely trip is over. So to all of you who rose to this challenge, I say bravo. I may do some peeking on my blackberry while I'm away. It only takes me about 45 minutes to log in. Maybe I'll even be glad, for one short 3 day period that I have one, just so I can see what you all did with plum and red. Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Every time you use this sweet little set, I realized I'm going to have to buy more so I can have it too. This is a wonderful card, and your plum, rose and artichoke combination is fabulous! TFS and have a safe trip home...

Technology! Can't live with it but surely wouldn't want to live without it! I'm with you on feeling like it slows me down and adds to my frustration but glad for the end results!
Love the way you used black and vanilla to set off your lovely use of the colors in the challenge. The punched border over the black is especially nice. Gail

Do you know what I think pulls it all together? The big dotted brad! This is lovely Karen, and a wonderful sample of the new SU set!
