Woo Hoo, I made an easel card. I made one in stamp class, but never got back to it. I looked it up under the SCS resources and I've finally done one on my own. Deb -djahner- got me started on this after she sent me a shutter card with measurements and I finally made one.
Anyhow, this is a birthday card for one of our dear SCS and punchkateer member who just happens to love, you guessed it, COFFEE.
I used soft suede paired with SU Elegant Soiree to create this card. I dyed the flowers in baja blue to match and then sprinkled them with dazzling diamonds and topped them with antique brads.
I used the finial press ef on the soft suede portion underneath the image and used the scallop trim border punch underneath it. Added the ribbon stitched border punch, cut in halves, for the top and bottom on the lower layer of the card.
Used the coffee mug popped up on a dimensional as well as some gems to rest the top part of the card so it would stay up when the card is opened. Watercolored the images, added a bit of sparkle and a tad of bling.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and I hope you have an absolutely "perkfect" week!

Love it Pam! Awesome coloring! The coffee pot reminds me of the one my Grandma had....you knew if it was perking company was coming or already there. (Hmmmm...let's see....I am guessing this card is for Sue??) I guess I will be ok if you send it to her since I am not a coffee lover even though I so love this card.) ;)

Perkfect week? Oh, you are too quick!!! LOL And, what a perfect card for 'you know who'. Well, I certainly know it isn't for me as I hate coffee. Can't understand how a person acquires a taste for it...the same way I acquired my taste for Diet Dr. Pepper, I suppose.
Yea for Pamzi making an easel. It awesome..yes, indeed!!!!
