Today's WT309 Challenge was perfect timing as I needed to get busy and get a birthday card made. I was stuck as to what image to use and finally chose this little bird image since Benzi of the StampinB Design team blog was hosting today ~ her challenge was, you guessed it, to use a bird. I used SCS sketch 315 as it happened to be lying (uncovered by other clutter) on the desk in my Rubber Room.
The DSP is from the Sale-a-bration digital disc (Ice Cream Parlor paper pack). Used Rain Dots instead of brads to keep it nice and flat for mailing. Gave it a blast with my Shimmer Paint/rubbing alcohol spray bottle to give it a little sparkle.
PT: Just the one punch clearly visible on the front.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, what a lovely, lovely birthday card for the challenge, Izzy!! Those colors are so cheery, and I like the blast of shimmer you gave your card. (If only I could remember to add such thoughtful extras!!) Beautiful composition--so nicely balanced. A super card.

Izzy, I see Benzi was to the rescue on this one. Always there looking out for you. LOL I LOVE this pretty bird...I love just about any bird except those black birds that have now arrived in huge flocks. But, that is just one more sign Spring will come. Next, will be scores of Robins and things really begin to look good for Spring. Love your shimmery card with such gorgeous colors you've used. Thanks for playing with the Stampin B's this week.

The digital paper looks pretty durned good! My printer sucks and would not make it look as good as yours. Love that bird; I'll bet the Prez did too. Perfect for her challenge.
