This will probably be my last Valentine this year. I won't have time to send many out, so guess don't need to make any more or save them for next year.
I used this adorable $1 Michael's stamp. I love birds, so this one I thought was really cute. I used markers to color the image: real red, regal rose and soft suede, and I used crystal effects on the red hearts that are part of the stamp and the birds. Dusted a little dazzling diamonds on the birds also. I saw this sentiment stamp at the same time, so for $2 in stamps, I was able to make this card.
My DH recently hung all my nesties on hooks down a whole wall, so now I can see what I have and what nesties would fit into others. It sure has helped me to use my nesties differently.
I used the lacey circle nestie for the image panel and matted it with the blossoms nestie. Popped up the main panel on dimensionals.
Used this pretty sparkly fiber ribbon I had in my stash, added the sentiment and heart gems on the bottom of the card and circling the image panel.
That about does it. Guess I'm all outta lovin'!

Another $1 bird stamp?? Pamzi, you are SO lucky!! Who would have guessed that lightning could strike twice? You made an ADORABLE card with both of your bargain stamps, and I love the layout you used. How sweet that your cowboy, er, hubby hung hooks for your Nesties! What a wonderful way to organize them. I bet that's a real help.

Pamzi you rocked your last Valentine for the season. This is one of those classically elegant numbers with just the right amount of embellishments. Love the sweet little birds. Great idea for your nesties. I am always amazed when our DH's come up with ideas to make our crafting easier. He's a keeper!!!

Hey there Girlfriend! You're so right...it's been way too long. I've been super busy with workshops and just had a 3-day stamping and scrapping retreat at the beach, which was awesome!
Anyway, this card is super adorable! I love that fuzzy ribbon and wish that I feel it through this computer screen. LOL...

Outta loving!!! Used it all up on your paper cowboy, I guess. What does DH say about that!! Oh sure, it's a lovely Valentine, but I'm interested in the intimate details. Is my Valentine in the mail?????????? That fibred ribbon has embedded spy equipment in it - I can tell - what do you mean, that's the last card you have time for!!! Get on the job and put the spy ware onto your cards!!!!

Hey, Pamzi, that's a great tip for hanging the nesties. THanks for sharing that. And I love your Valentine card with 'love birds'. Too bad you made it before Benzi's challenge at Stampin' B, to use birds. It would've fit in perfectly!
