This week we're making cards with cherries on them for Mothermark's neice, Shari, who is battling cancer and could use some cheering up. You can read more about it here .
Used a $1.00 stamp for the cherries, colored with Copics, cut out, covered with Crystal Effects and glued on a square cut from a scrap of shiny checker board design paper. Placed that on a square of Real Red cardstock then a square of sparkle black DCWV cardstock. Scored two vertical lines on the left side and added the dots using stickles. Stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts and called it done.

Hi Auntie Susan!!!! OMG! This is so Mary Englebrecht! I love it with the checkerboards! And the little border of dots by three are so the teapot! Giggle! You did good! The square of checkerboard with the cherry in the middle just reaches out and grabs ya in the gallery! It will reach out and grab Shari in her mailbox! Snort!
