Wow! Did NancyRuth ever give a fun challenge this week for the Stampin B's Design Team. We are to be inspired by a song title. My song is THE ROSE by Bette Midler: Ooh, I love that song.
The card is cut with the Cricut. I used a rose image by Stampabilities called Vintage Rose.
I colored my stamp with my marker and stamped twice so I would have a rose to cut out and pop.
The butterfly is punched from vellum and edged with a gold leaf pen and I gave it a rhinestone. Cut the sentiment with Fancy Tags die cut and stamped with a Mark's Finest Papers stamp called Hearts, Hearts, Hearts.
Hope you'll join this fun challenge this week.If uploading to this gallery, use the keyword Stampin B.

I see this was posted back when Pamzi was on her week of Queenly ranting... I'm glad I've found a few minutes to go back in your gallery and find the ones I've missed over the last few weeks. Some really great cards, this one included. I've added a gold leaf pen to my wish list after I've seen one used in so many galleries. Not that I'll be able to duplicate the effect, but I can pretend. Fun card - love that die cut you've used for the sentiment. There are getting to be too many choices for fun punches and dies. Almost overload for my poor brain!
