This card was created for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge and Thursday's Way to Use it challenge- Butterflies. I was thrilled to use ODBD's new set “Faith” to match last weeks ODBD challenge creation.
Using the butterflies from “Faith” I did a background in Creamy Caramel, and gold embossed the scripture from this set. I love this verse because it is full of hope, and the butterflies signify new beginnings. To compliment the soft colors used, I chalked the image from “for the Graduate” for my gift frame, and added blooms and punched butterflies. The gift frame is posted separately if you would like to see a close up.
This week's Challenge:
To use wings on your creation.

This elegant vintage card is the perfect complement to your gift frame in last week's challenge!
Your stitched background paper in those soft earthy colors makes your flowers and butterflies come alive. The subtle stamping of the "wings" of the butterfly and your nestied layer with the pearls is the perfect setting for the gold embossed verse. Just beautiful, Pat!! What a style you have developed!!
Congratulations on your new grandson, Jon, and welcome back from Wyoming!! Big Hugs!!
