Hi! This card fits for this weekÂ’s Way's to Use It Challenge: Twine and this week's StampinÂ’ BÂ’s challenge: Old/New- We were to use an OLD favorite and a brand spankinÂ’ NEW item. Well, I used several Oldies: scallop dies, DOTS, embossing folders, (both in the first batch I purchased), and the premium paper flowers. For the new, well, this is the first time IÂ’ve used this bunny on a card! ItÂ’s from a set that will be released next week. (In The Forest)
I’ve been absent these last few days because I’ve been cleaning out my mother’s room. It’s been a task and a half, and it’s very time and energy consuming. I had no idea my mother had that many clothes! She had 4 closets and 3 dressers FULL…And, there were 3 baskets of clean laundry, too! The woman NEVER threw clothing away! Talk about a shocker! I have been in that house for MANY days and nights and never opened a closet door. It just didn’t occur to me! Then, this week, the realization that my father needed “help” with the day to day things hit me in the forehead. Mark, bless his pointed little head, suggested we move in with Dad, since Dad didn’t want to move into my house, or live with my sister. Now, this man does not like animals to be near him. He has NO problem with animals, and he talks to them, he just doesn’t want them near him. Well…I want you to imagine a man who is not used to having 6 cats and 3 dogs, having them LIVING with him! Can you just see this??? Speedy the Cat is going to have the time of his life deviling my father!
The bunny was stamped in AdirondackÂ’s Espresso and colored in with Copics. I added twine to the satin ribbon for a bit of texture at the bottom of the card to help balance the Premium Paper Flowers.
Finished card size: 5 1/4" Square
Total time to complete: More time than I care to admit!

I really like the colors, and the twine over the ribbon!
