No More Chocolate Chip Cookies. Yikes! I can make any other cookie recipe...but no more of my "favorite, baked far too often" chocolate chip cookies! I was so tempted to make some about 2 weeks ago...but I abstained. And then a fellow SCSer who reads my blog, sent me a new cookie cook book...that arrived the day after my near break down for those ooey gooey cookies!

You must be a very strong woman to make this kind of resolution, Good Luck!
The card, is perfect! It's got baking, and the lace of an apron, I love it!
How about Snickerdoodles, yum. I like oatmeal raisin cookies, as those are kind of healthy, just add more raisins and the use the old fashioned oatmeal.

Cute, Dawn.....that would be a hard resolution to keep. Although I usually only make Chocolate Chip cookies AT Christmas time! Your card has a sweet homey feel to it, I love it!

hmmm, does it count if your lovely daughter makes the chocolate chip cookies instead of you? I don't make CC cookies nearly as often as you did, but I could never go a whole year without making some! Love your card and how you popped up some eggs and added a lacy border like a tablecloth.

Cute card, and good luck on keeping that one. It would be a hard one for me to follow.

First off, I have to say that I DO NOT agree with your resolution! Chocolate chip cookies are a holy institution that you neglect at your peril! If you absolutely MUST cut back, save them for special occasions only (like "Talk Like a Pirate Day", or Wednesday...), but don't eliminate them altogether! That being said, I really like your card...

Eat dessert first sounds like a good sentiment to me....but it's only breakfast time (yes, I slept in) and the only dessert I can think of is chocolate, so I guess I'd better eat my oatmeal first! Nice homey and chocolaty colors and I love the punched border. I had that punch, but it didn't outlive a 32 card swap I had to do.
