My grandma taught me how to drink tea, back when I was a toddler. She always poured it boiling hot out of the pan over the tea leaves. I would whine about it being too hot. She would say, "Well, take some in your spoon & blow on it. Or if that would take too long pour some in your saucer & blow on it." And sure enough, the tea would cool & I could enjoy it. Of course it was always accompanied by cookies out of the cookie jar. Whenever I drink tea, I'm transported back to warm & happy memories back in my grandma's kitchen. Now I am teaching my own grandchildren to drink tea. This is my first challenge, as it is the "Teapot Tuesdays" challenge . . . it HAD to be a teapot! Hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it.

As a retired kdg. teacher I can't tell you how many times I have sung your little teapot verse. After learning the song and singing it several times we just had to have tea and cookies. Thanks for the memories.
Hi! Welcome to the party. I was afraid nobody would play, it being a holiday week and all. I love the card you made .. Especially the colors... It is fun how you wrote the verse all around the card.

Hi there! Glad to see you at the party. What a lovely memory for the cute card. That is a lovely teapot and bg for it. I had not thought of that rhyme for a LONG time - now it will be going through my head all day!

This card is making me "hanker" for a cup of tea, as my Mom would have said. Her sister says that tea must be served in a cup and not one of those ole mugs! Your first TPT card is perfect with the lovely patterns and images, WELCOME!
