I so enjoyed looking at the IC site today. We used to know someone through business who had his own TV show doing painting, and because he knew I made fancy shirts for DH, I ended up making some for him - even one that he wore for the cover photo of one of his books. I am just glad it wasn't jackets he was into!!
I chose this plaid and knew straight away I was going to do some paper-weaving.
This is also for the ODBD Stamping in Time assignment to make a scripture the focal point of your card.
5 3/4" square base. All the coloured papers are Sizzix Little Sizzles, cut in 1/2" strips. The sentiment was stamped with orange and embossed with clear EP. I inked a flourish up with Brilliance Peacock and clear EP, and punched a butterfly from a scrap of paper.
Wouldn't you know it - I just packed up my old second-hand purple Wizard and posted it off this morning to a friend, as DH is giving me the raspberry one for Christmas. So no embossing, no Nestabilities and I was just lucky to find a flourish in the box on my desk, but it was matt silver, hence the need to ink and emboss it.

Sabrina, this is wonderful! Great colors and the embossed scripture as focal point is lovely. Really love how you framed it with the colorful and fabulously done weaving! Lovely card! Thanks so much for playing ODBD Stamping In Time challenge!
