This is for IC262 and Shabby Apple is our inspiration site. I was inspired by this black dress with the red belt. http://www.shabbyapple.com/p-793-frankie.aspx I knew I had one last piece of the black, red and white Jovial paper and thought it would be perfect for this project. I have fallen in love with using the SU bird punch and the MS evergreen punch. I wanted to use something small enough to allow as much of the gorgeous designer paper show as possible but yet have a pretty center piece. I applied versa to all the evergreen sprigs using a versa pen and then embossing with white ep. I did the same with a few of the little limbs that punch with the bird and then embossed them with white and then covered them in versa and embossed with clear ep. I wanted the red limbs to shine through the green and to match the shininess embossed on the bird.
Accessories: Grosgrain, White and CLear Embossing Powder, Matt Accent for Adhesive, Glue Dots, Versa and Versa Marker

Kittie, your interpretation of the inspiration piece is wonderful! Love the pop of red and that bird on the 'nest' is so adorable!
