Call me crazy, trying to CASE one of Michelle Zindorf's cards! She was stamping long before I ever discovered this wonderful artform. I took a workshop with her earlier this year and it opened a whole new world for me! I will never attain her level of expertise with a brayer and inks, but what I did learn from her gives me great satisfaction.
I chose THIS CARD of Michelle's which was a 2004 card. Looks like brayering didn't enter her gallery cards until 2007....unless I missed one in 2006. I was immediately drawn to the crimped band on this card...a forgotten tool in my toolbox. She did not have a brayered bg, but I added one since to me, it is her "signature". I changed colors, images and added some black rhinestones.
Thanks, Michelle!

This is amazing, Sallie! I love the crimped piece and the reminder it's gathering dust in my studio, too. Your background is lovely. It has inspired me to give coloring more weight in my work (though sponging, not brayering).
