I am happy to be creating again after a little break. This site just yells country, so I reached for my crumb cake cs for the base and used this photo as my inspiration:
I texturized the base with a cross-hatch pattern. The scallop behind the image as well as the punched border have paper piercings to emulate the pattern in the original. The main image is spritzed. The horizontal panel is distressed and sponged with faux stitching. I decided to keep it simple and stamp the sentiment directly onto the card. It actually is straight, so I don't have to cover it up as I usually do. I added a little ribbon with a few sprigs of greenery as the only embellishment. No bling on a country style card.
Hope you like it. Thanks for viewing and commenting today.
